It begins with seductive aromas that immediately impress, as it reveals nuances of black forest cake, coffee grounds, anise and crème de cassis. The mid-palate weight to this wine is sensational, as is the balance and poise. Delicious flavors of anise, green bell pepper, mocha and shades of blueberry puree all come together marvelously and linger through the finish. Outstanding now, yet shows the potential to age. Try to resist this beautiful wine for at least two more years.
