The 2016 'Inspirado' is composed of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. This forward and seductive red instantly impresses as it gets off to a fast start, offering profound aromas of blueberries, crème de cassis, sweet baking spices, graphite and hints of crushed violets. On the palate this is full-boded, with a soft, round tannins and voluptuous mouthfeel, backed by a sweet core of ripe dark and blue fruits and baking spices that expand through the seamless finish. The 2016 offers plenty of upfront appeal and will be ready for business upon release.
