The 2016 'Right Bank' blend is composed of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 11% Malbec, 7% Cabernet Franc. It begins with inviting aromas of crème de cassis and dark currents which are woven together with dark chocolate, sweet spices, cigar box, loam and savory herbs. On the palate this is full-bodied and well-balanced, with nicely integrated tannins and a lovely opulent mouthfeel that continues through the luscious finish. Overall, this is a is simply fabulous wine that is drinking beautifully now, and should continue to offer more than a decade of drinking pleasure.
