This gorgoeus chardonnay has it all, as it immediately delivers striking aromas of lemon confit, ripe apple, wet stones, orange blossoms, oyster shell and hints of toasted almond nuances that all come together and emerge beautifully from the glass. The palate displays remarkable focus and elegace, complemented by a gorgoeus rich texture that is lifted by lovely acidity and laced with flavors of ripe orchard fruits, crushed rocks, citrus and dried spices adding even further complexity. It goes on to impress with its fantastic overall balance, energy and precision that persists all the way through the sensational finish. While 2016 offers tremendous appeal today, it should also age marvelously and continue to show beautifully as it evolves over the next decade.
