The 'Gramercy Estates' Red Wine is a gorgeous blend of 80% Merlot with the reminder equal parts Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon which was sourced entirely from the JB George Vineyard. It begins to impress with its wonderful aromatics of cocoa powder with red and dark fruits as well as sagebrush accents that round out this outstanding nose. The palate is plush, delivering straightforward red and dark fruit flavors with black tea and mocha accents that linger through the finish. While delicious in its youth, this should certainly continue to evolve beautifully over the next decade.
