The 2017 Cuvée Chaupin is a fantastic showing in this vintage. This Cuvée is composed of Grenache sourced from the sandy soils of lieu-dit Chapouin as well as La Janasse and Le Crau. It impresses right out of the gate with inviting aromas of black raspberries, dark cherries, crushed flowers, spices, black olive, white pepper and wild herbs all come together and emerge beautifully from the glass. This possesses a gorgeous medium-to full body with incredibly silky tannins that glide effortlessly across the palate. Showing remarkable depth and concentration this beautifully crafted Châteuneuf-du-Pape is stunning today, but will also age marvelously for more than two decades.
