The 2016 Gravelly Meadow is another simply marvelous wine from Diamond Creek in this vintage. It bursts open with fabulous aromatics of ripe black currants and blackberries which are joined by fresh violets, mocha, graphite, mountain herbs and mineral nuances that all come together to form the seductive nose. This goes on to impress with its fantastic full-bodied texture and incredible overall depth and concentration, as layers of beautifully dark ripe fruits continue to build up to the long enveloping finish. Gravelly Meadow is another absolute knockout from Diamond Creek in this vintage as pushes the limits of perfection.
