The 2017 Domaine Saint Préfert Châteauneuf-du-Pape is sourced from the domaines youngest vines in the Serres lieux-dit. Composed of 85% Grenache, 5% Cinsault, 5% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre. It opens to fresh, inviting aromas of raspberries, plums, spices, herbs, pepper, licorice and hints of minerals. On the palate this displays a gorgeous medium-full body with a wonderful silky texture and excellent overall balance and concentration though the finish. This is already showing plenty of early appeal and readers should continue to find pleasure in this beauty for quite some time.
