The 2017 'Reserve des Vieilles Vignes' opens to pretty aromas of black raspberries and dark plums that are woven together with spices, herbs and hints of licorice which all take shape beautifully in the glass. This beautifully structured red possesses a medium-plus bodied with outstanding concentration and depth. It goes on to impress as it displays a gorgeous bright core of juicy red fruits and spices that work their way though the long lingering finish. While this is fantastic now, it should go on to evolve for years to come.
