Chupacabra is a blend of 65% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre and 15% Grenache from the Buhl Memorial Vineyard. It opens with lovely fruit scents of blueberry, currant, dried herbs, leather, iron and hints of coffee on the nose. On the palate this is focused and balanced with acidity along with flavors of earth and wild herbs. This is a gorgous wine that is showing beautifully today and should contine to drink nicely over the next few years.
