Giovanni Rosso's Etna Rosso is mainly Nerello Mascalese with a small percentage of local grape varieties. It opens with aromas of wild cherry, spice, leather, violet, forest floor and dried herbs. On the palate this is round and fresh, with supple tannin and pure red fruits. This is a fantastic Etna red that is drinking well with extended air contact and will continue to flourish over the next decade plus.
