The 2916 'Le Cortigiane Oneste' is a unique blend of 70% Barbera and 30% Merlot from 3,400-3,600 feet elevation in the Willcox Vineyard. This is a beautiful, Italian style red blend offers inviting aromas of dark cherries and dried red berries which are woven together with spices, leather, smoke and dried flowers that come together seamlessly the glass. On the palate this medium-bodied red is focused, silky and beautifully balanced, with a lovey underlying acidity adding nice verve as it heads into the finish. While this is showing excellent today, it should also continue to drink fantastic over the course of the next decade.
