The 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Noir from Ernest Meurgey-Perron opens to aromas of wild berries and raspberries which are woven together with spices, earth and florals and hints of licorice that all develop in the glass. This medium bodied Pinot Noir is silky with a touch of underling minerality that persists through the finish. Overall this should drink nicely upon release or hold up in the cellar for a few more years.
