EVENING LAND VINEYARDS Pinot Noir, Seven Springs Estate 'Anden' 2017

The 2017 'Anden' Pinot Noir is another stellar release from Evening Land. Anden is sourced from the oldest Pommard Clones in the Seven Springs Vineyard, and it will be the last vintage for these vines. The wine itself begins with gorgeous aromatics of red wild berries, black raspberries, dried florals, spices, black tea, orange zest, earthy minerals and forest floor undertones that add wonderful complexity. This continues to impress on the palate with its elegant texture and outstanding overall definition and balance that persists through the pretty finish. While this is already brilliant in its youth, this stunning Pinot Noir should go on to evolve beautifully over the next ten to fifteen years and have a sensational future ahead.
