The 2014 'El Gran Enemigo' is a composed from a blend of 60% Malbec, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. It displays a dark inky color which is followed by expressive aromas of blackberries, cassis, mocha, violets, leather and sweet spices that all take shape in the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied, plush and layered, with a core of sweet ripe fruit that supported by big muscular tannins which remain evident through the long finish. While this is already quite appealing, allowing this another few years bottle age certainly won't hurt its cause.
