The 2017 Côte de Lechet Chablis from Lionel Bussy is absolutely fantastic in this vintage. It instantly begins to entice with it beautiful color and striking aromatics of juicy quince, sweet white peach, candied lemon, orange zest which is follow by a lovely mineral character. On the palate this is just as impressive, showing a gorgeous textural richness, backed by a core of beautiful ripe fruit, which is balanced by lovely combination of acidity and minerality. This a flat-out stunning bottle Chablis that is drinking beautifully today and should also continue to thrive with additional bottle age.
