The 2017 Carius Cairanne Côtes du Rhône Villages is excellent, offering inviting aromas of both red and dark fruits with nuances of earth, violets, lavender, herbs and minerals all coming together beautifully. The palate is medium-bodied and well structured with notable acidity that persists all the way through the finish. This is drinking sensational upon release and should continue to drink fantastic over the next few years.
