The 2017 Le Chevaliere Rasteau begins with aromatics of raspberries, cherries and plums which are woven together with spices, licorice, wild herbs and lavender which all take shape beautifully in the glass. This possesses a medium body with silky tannins resulting in a lovely round mouthfeel which is backed by a core of juicy red fruits that continue to work their way though the long finish.
