The 2017 Château la Liquiere Faugéres opens to inviting aromas of kirsch cherries, damson plums, wild herbs, spices, licorice, pepper and hints of damp earth. On the palate this possesses a medium-plus body with a lovely velvety texture. This displays notable overall balance, with a core of ripe red fruits and spices that lingers thourhg the finish. While this is drinking fantastic now, it should also continue to evolve with some additional bottle age.
