The 2015 La Palazzetta Brunello di Montalcino slowly unwinds to inviting aromas of dark cherries and red plums woven together with leather, spices, minerals, herbs and hints of forest floor all coming together beautifully in the glass. On the palate this possesses remarkable balance and finesse, along with a lovely touch of underlying acidity keeping it fresh and inviting. The finish is long and polished with flavors of red fruits and leathery notes that linger beautifully. This is already extremely compelling, however it also has the potential to age over the next decade.
