The 2017 Feudo Italia Amarone della Valpolicella opens to inviting aromas of blackberries, dried plums, which are followed by dusty leather, chocolate and a touch of dried herbs that all take shape in the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied with nicely polished, showing nicely balance though the finish. Overall, this is an Amarone that is drinking excellent today, but should also evolve beautifully over time.
