Liquid Farm’s Pinot Noir from the Spear Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills is sensational in this vintage. It opens with a beautiful bouquet of wild cherry, plum, savory herb, crushed gravel, and forest floor. There are secondary nuances of cured meat, dried spice and mint. On the palate this shines with beautiful red fruits, candied berries, and spices. Overall, this is a beautifully polished and focused Pinot Noir that will require a few years of bottle age before it will hit its stride and should be fantastic to approach over the course of next decade.
