Ambassador’s 2017 Estate Grown Grenache from Red Mountain AVA contains 86% grenache and 14% merlot and spends 18 months in barrel (21% new french oak.) The wine opens with aromas of ripe red currant, macerated black raspberries, lilac petals and a touch of cedar smoke. The full-bodied palate hits with notes of fresh dark cherry, blueberry, accented by a touch of dried herbs on the finish. Only 200 cases produced.
