The 'Campo di Tenaglia' is a lovely showing in this vintage. Elegant, yet expressive, this slowly beings to to release aromas of blackberries and dark cherries, which are laced with spices, floral, tobacco, herbs and minerals that all come together nicely in the glass. The palate is medium to full-bodied, beautifully polished and remarkably balanced through the finish. This is an excellent wine from Andrea Franchetti which should continue to develop gracefully over time.
