The 2018 'Campo di Camagi' is an absolutely fabulous Cabernet Franc which is ripe and seductive. This bursts open with bold aromatics of ripe blackberries and sweet black cherries, which are laced with roasted coffee, spices, floral, tobacco and crushed stones. The palate is full-bodied, plush, layered and structured with velvety tannins. It goes on to display excellent concentration and balance through the long, finish, where flavors of dark fruit and hints of iron leave a lasting impression. This is drinking beautifully today, and should continue to provide enjoyment as it evolves over time.
