The 2016 Château Saint-Michel Bordeaux Supérieur begins with inviting aromas of ripe cherries and raspberries which are woven together with fresh florals, spices and hints of licorice. On the palate this is medium-plus bodied with nicely polished tannins and a juicy mouthful ripe fruits which bursts onto the finish. A lovely showing and excellent value which will be accessible early on.
