Domaine De La Cote's Blooms Field is another spectacular Pinot Noir in 2018, and may be the finest vintage for this wine yet. It instantly begins to impress with its striking aromatic bouquet, offering nuances of fresh strawberries and cranberries woven together with potpourri, lavender, black tea, sea spray, violets and white pepper. The palate is fresh, precise and vibrant with remarkable purity. There are delicious flavors of red berries, exotic, zesty spices and earth leading the way, with secondary layers of wild herbs and pepper adding even further complexity. While the Bloom's Field can be approachable today, it also shows incredible promise for a wondeful future ahead and will continue to drink beautifully over the next decade and beyond.
