SOTER Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton 'Savannah Ridge' 2017

Aged 9 months in barrel, with 43% new French oak treatment, this cool vintage Pinot Noir from Soter is really starting to shine after resting several years in the bottle. A gorgeous medium ruby color presents itself in the glass along with smells of raspberry, red plum, star anise, clove, oyster shell, and forest floor. The palate is just as complex as the nose with flavors of red and black raspberry, cranberry, dried mint, and cedar tones. The wine is perfectly balanced in fruit, tannin, body and acidity and will age well for another decade.
