The flagship White Label Pinot Noir from Soter is worthy of the hype. This wine is only made in the best vintages and 2016 was a standout for Soter. Picturesque in the glass with a deep ruby core and a violet rim, it’s a beauty to gaze at. Sculpted to be a bit more extracted with high intensity, the nose creates a powerful explosion of red and black fruit, cinnamon, dark cherry pie and a touch of cigar ash. Take a sip and expect aspects of dark plum, red and black cherry, dried herbs de Provence and a touch of cola (but in a good way.) The finish is long with velvety and smooth tannins, medium plus acidity and a full body. This wine is a beautiful example of what an Oregon Pinot Noir can become. 567 cases produced.
