A cooler vintage in 2017 brought some leaner, but still magnificent Pinot Noirs from Soter. With a few years in the bottle, the wine is showing nicely with a nose of red raspberry, dried strawberry, nutmeg and thimbleberry. The palate is incredibly beautiful with polished tannins, great acidity and just the right amount of sweet baking spices. Add the flavors of bing cherry, red currant and some wet earth and you have a complex, balanced and killer Pinot Noir.
