The 2018 Napa Valley Reserve composed from the best barrel selections of the year. After 12 months of aging each vineyard separately the best barrels are selected to create the finest expression of the vintage. The 2018 is composed of 50% Ceniza, 30% Red Hen and 20% Alluvium Vineyard. The resulting wine is nothing short of sensational as it bursts open with seductive aromas of blueberries, black currants and creme de cassis, that are woven together with graphite, violets, sweet baking spices, licorice, gravel and dusty minerals. On the palate this is even more impressive, full-bodied and plush with incredible concentration and depth. Seamless layers of gorgeous ripe dark fruits emerge from its core and continue to build through the multidimensional finish. This is an absolutely stunning wine from Maayan Koschitzky that will be open for business upon release, but should also have a fabulous future ahead.
