The Alluvium Vineyard is located in St Helena AVA (westside of St Helena) where the soils are mainly Alluvial Fans. The 2018 opens to incribally fresh, pure aromas of ripe blackberries black cherries and black plums which are woven together with graphite, violets, fresh herbs and some dusty nuances that all burst from the glass. On the palate this possesses a gorgeous full-body that is structured and polished. Concentrated and focused this Cabernet is simply stunning all the way through the long, supple finish. While this is already impossible to resist in its youth, it should also go on to offer a drinking window that spans decades.
