The Cenzia Vineyard (Spanish for ash) is located in Coombsville AVA where the soils are composed of volcanic ash with layers of rich Loam. As it evolves in the glass it releases stunning aromas of dark cherries and dark currants, violets, graphite, loam, cacao nibs, exotic spices and licorice that come together. The palate is full-bodied, layered and concentrated. This goes on to display outstanding structure with beautifully polished tannins. It continues to impress as it displays a wonderful freshness and purity through the long, polished finish. Overall, this is a simply marvelous bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that is already very expressive in its youth, but also has the potential to drink beautifully for decades.
