The 2016 Ripasso opens to aromas of sweet cherries, plums and red berries which mingle with wildflower petals, spices, river rocks. On the palate this is medium-bodied with wonderful overall balance between its sweet fruits and bright acidity which provides a wonderful sense of freshness thats persists through the finish. This is a lovely Ripasso that will be accessible early on, but has the potential to evolve with some short-term cellaring.
