GRAN MORAINE Pinot Noir, Yamhill Carlton 2018

Medium ruby and purple in the glass, this wine is a pleasure to look at. The experience moves to the expressive nose of blueberry, back raspberry, cocoa nibs and roasted nuts. Notes of dark cherry, ripe dark plums, milk chocolate and a tiny splash of fresh mint are in balance with the medium plus acidity and medium plus tannins. The core of the wine is strong but will be even better in a few years.
