The 2015 Castel Del Monte Riserva opens to aromas of blackberries and dark plums woven together with balsamic, spices and sweet oak nuances all slowly taking shape in the glass. On the palate this is medium bodied with a round plush texture yielding flavors of blackberries, dark cherries and hints of sweet tobacco through the seamless finish.
