The 2017 Chateau de Fesles Anjou Cabernet Franc, Vieilles Vignes 'La Chapelle' opens with inviting aromatics of black raspberries, pepper, lavendar, tobacco and wet stones. On the palate this medium-bodied with a fine silky texture which is underlined by lovely minerality. I expect this to continue to flesh out and gain complexity with some additional bottle age.
