The 2019 Carneros Chardonnay is a barrel selection from two historic Chardonnay vineyards Hyde and Beresini, and are all variations of the Wente Clones selected by Larry Hyde. This is a marvelous showing from Tor, which displays a beautiful nose of Asian pear, honeycomb, Meyer lemon, sea spray, white flower blossoms, and mineral nuances all take shape. The palate is full, rich and luscious, with incredible balance. Gorgeous flavors of pear, honeycomb and hints of pineapple notes all flow beautifully through the finish. This is a simply fantastic Chardonnay that is nothing short of utterly delicious.
