The 2019 Pott '20M3' Viognier is absolutely striking. Aged in Italian terracotta amphorae, this opens with a beautiful bouquet of tangerine, tropical fruits, white peach and honey suckle along with hints of fennel seed, citrus and crushed almonds. On the palate this has a simply gorgeous creamy texture that is backed by bright natural acidity, which provides wonderful freshness. Flavors of pineapple, lychee, stone fruit, citrus and herbs round out the finish this delicious Viognier. While this is impossible to resist today, it also has the potential to evolve beautifully for several more years.
