The 2019 Château Grand Tayac 'Cuvee Reserve' is fantastic. It opens to inviting aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, violets, tobacco, graphite, minerals and spices all coming together in the glass. The palate this possesses a medium-plus body, which is beautifully structured with remarkable overall focus and balance as everything expands on to the gorgeous finish. A simply outstanding showing from renowned oenologist Eric Boissenot, which is delightful in its youth, but should also have a wonderful future ahead.
