Make sure to give this dark, brooding, gorgeous 100% Cabernet Sauvignon a few hours in a decanter (or even overnight) before enjoying, as it needs some time to open up. It is aged for 22 months in 50% new French oak barrels and is a very small production of only 200 cases. It’s loaded to the brim with aromas of dark juicy fruit, lilac blossoms, sweet toasted baking spices, fat walnuts and espresso powder. The palate is full of the same descriptors, as well as blackberry, cassis, tobacco leaf, cigar ash, and caramelized cinnamon pie crust. It’s incredibly balanced on the palate with fruit, acidity and tannins forming a perfect core. 300 cases produced.
