GRAMERCY CELLARS Syrah, Walla Walla Valley 2016

A 100% Syrah that spends 18 months in neutral French oak puncheons and barrels and sees no new oak treatment, the nose has nothing to hide, exploding with aromas of mulberry, blackberry, violet petals, smoked pork shoulder, green peppercorn and creme de cassis. The palate has a ton of structure and precision and is very bright with flavors of plum skin, blackberry lemonade, cigar ash, dried violet, and bacon fat. Like all of Gramercy Cellars Syrah’s, this one is a winner. 1011 cases produced.
