The Woolsey Road Vineyard is owned by the Martinelli family and the fruit is exclusive to Ramey. This Chardonnay instantly begins to impress as it bursts open with a lovely aromatic profile consisting of ripe orchard fruits and lemon preserves that sit along side honeysuckle, buttered almonds, sea spray and hints of baking spices. On the palate this continues to impress with its gorgeous balance and mouth coating texture and beautiful flavors of citrus and minerals which are framed by a beautiful touch of acidity that keeps it fresh and inviting. While this is absolutely delicious today, its also likely that the best is still yet to come for this fantastic Chardonnay.
