The Massican Gemina is a wonderful blend of Pinot Bianco 75% from Somona and Greco 25% from Napa Valley, and it is superb in this vintage. The aromatics are fresh and inviting, with characteristics of lime, herbs, sea salt, starfruit, green apple, almond and honey, with hints of flower blossoms and honeysuckle. On the palate, there are flavors of apple, Asian pear, grapefruit, and green herbs as well as some peach and citrus zest, framed by vibrant acidity and lovely minerality. Overall, this is a simply delicious wine from Dan Petroski that is drinking beautifully.
