Composed of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc, this instantly bursts open with seductive aromas of ripe blackberries, cherries and black currants which are joined by graphite, tobacco, dark chocolate and dried exotic spices that all soar from the glass. The palate is full-bodied, beautifully polished with outstanding concentration, focus and structure. It goes on to impress with its opulent layers of ripe dark fruits, ripe cherries, cocoa, and spice flavors that are framed by lovely underlying acidity keeping it fresh through the long supple finish. Drink now with some air contact, but best to hold for another few years before pulling the cork on this beauty.
