The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon from Cervantes is outstanding. This immediately impresses as it explodes with captivating aromatics of ripe blackcurrants, black plums and blueberries backed up by suggestions of loam, spices, graphite, crushed gravel and violets. The concentrated, full-bodied palate is layered and packed with delicious ripe black and blue fruit flavors, supported by gorgeous tannins that are beautifully polished and hold it all firmly in place through the supple finish. The 2018 is nothing short of fantastic and while it is already extreamely impressive today, it will also continue to drink beautifully for decades.
