Aged for 16 months and resting in 70% new French oak barrels, this momentous and weighty Chardonnay comes from the famous Hyde Vineyard in Carneros. This wine stands up to, not only the best of the best Chardonnays from the Central Coast, but also those from Napa and Sonoma. Presenting aromas and flavors of ripe white peach, underripe pineapple, sweet cinnamon, white mushroom combines with high amounts of scrumptious acidity ending with complex minerality and a finish that doesn’t quit. Only 8 barrels produced.
