The 2019 'Project 18' is a fantastic wine. It instantly opens to inviting aromas of dark currants and blackberries which come together with spices, tobacco, herbs and hints of crushed gravel that all come together in the glass. On the palate this possesses a rich, voluptuous texture, with nicely integrated tannins. It displays notable depth and concentration through the long opulent finish. This is simply delicious now and should continue to evolve and drink well for a decade.
