The 2019 Sugarloaf Ranch Red Wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Merlot. It is an absolutely fabulous wine, which begins with stunning aromas of ripe dark currants and blackberries which come together with spices, tobacco, loam, violets and earthy minerals that all develop in the glass. On the palate this full-bodied with gorgeous velvety tannins and wonderful overall focus and precision. It continues to impress with its outstanding structure and concentration all the way through the incredibly long finish. This is a simply stunning wine that is absolutely delicious today, however should go on to age beautifully over the course of the next decade or two.
