The 2019 Riesling Federspiel opens with notes of white peach, stone fruits, apricot, white flowers, honey, and hints of crushed stones. On the palate this is vibrant and simply delicious as it delivers flavors of nectarine, orchard fruits and citrus which are underlined by lovely acidity that carries it into the mineral driven finish. This is excellent today, but should go on to evolve beautifully over the course of the next decade.
